Christ Coloured Resins & Lead on Perspex 28 x 38 cm
The picture is informed by a Russian Icon I saw. I was really drawn to the picture - It was composed of just a small number of hand drawn lines and seemed so very different to all of the other icons I had seen.
In this picture, the resin has been poured onto a base of mirrored perspex. It therefore has a reflective quality. When standing in front of the piece you can catch a glimpse of yourself in Christ's image.
